It turns out that there is a A LOT of scientific evidence that simply taking a daily walk has a strong correlation with reducing erectile dysfunction.
Studies indicate that a daily walk has a DIRECT impact on erectile function
WebMd reports that a Daily 2-Mile Walk May Prevent Impotence.
In the study, 110 men were monitored as they incorporated “regular physical activity at a level of at least 200 calories a day, which corresponds to walking briskly for two miles.” One-third of the men regained their sexual function.
Not only does walking improve your present sexual function, it drastically delays impotence from occurring as you get older.
In another study, 31,000 men between ages 55 and 90 were studied. Those who “regularly exercised typically had a 10-year delay in erectile dysfunction compared with more sedentary guys.”
This study is exciting because it shows that the easiest health change to make is also the most effective!
In the same study, other health changes were monitored and their relative effectiveness were measured. Difficult changes such as losing weight, reducing alcohol, quitting smoking, and reducing sugar were shown to NOT to lessen the risk of having erectile dysfunction.
Walking was the only variable that directly correlated to decreases in ED!

Another study done in 2015 and published in the American Journal of Cardiology, established the fact that men who had acute heart attack experienced a drastic reduction in erectile dysfunction as they participated in self-walking programs.
An easy habit to incorporate into your life
Invest in a good pair of walking shoes and walk a reasonable distance every day. Instead of jumping in the car, learn to walk around the block, to the store, to a friends house, etc.
If you don’t have a convenient place to walk outdoors, invest in a treadmill. You will get the same results from the convenience of your home.
Modern treadmills can calculate how much range you have covered as you go along. This makes it easy to cover the same distance daily in the quest of staying sexually healthy without the use of medications. Walking at a moderate speed of at least 3 miles an hour should take you between 30 – 45 minutes to cover a 2-mile distance.
Skip the bicycle…

Bikes are good for exercise, but they put intense pressure on your gonads. This restricts blood flow and increases the risk of ED and impotence. If you really want to cycle, get one of those really wide seats designed for people with huge asses.
Why does walking work?
The common sense answer is that humans have evolved around walking daily. Before cars and cubicles, this was essential for everyday life. It is one of our body’s basic requirements for good health.
In technical terms, walking increases vascular nitric oxide in the body. The nitric oxide improves blood flow to the weenie which is necessary for a healthy and lasting erection that will make your lady always ask for more. Unsurprisingly, increasing nitric oxide is exactly the same way that Viagra increases erections.
Walking is quite literally having the same effect as a tiny dose of Viagra.
Walking won’t fix your problem overnight
This is the only downside. Walking is part of a long term health strategy and not a quick fix.
